What can we do?

I am disabled and my Mother helps me during the day while my husband works. Recently the employer he is working for moved him to the night shift which is taking a toll on us because he is my care giver and I need his help with things at night. His employer at first when he asked to moved back to days said give them a month now just recently the have changed their minds and told my husband that he needs to wait to get moved back to days. What right do we have if any to get this employer to comply and move my husband back to the day shift?
