We believe that our company has violated the Warn Act. They sold the marketing division of the company, and are laying off everyone else except for about 20 people who will work in NJ. There is about 200 people in the company. In Feb a group of us was told that our last day would be the end of Feb. Another group of us was told our last day would be 3-31. The refinery in NJ workers were told a couple weeks ago that they had 60 days before they would be let go. Since then we have learned that one of the NJ IT staff that was released in Feb had his Warn Act rights violated, so what about the rest of us. It is one company, and not a refinery, and then office staff. Thank you for your help...! PS - The refinery is in NJ, corporate office headquarters is in Stanford CT, and another office in San Antonio TX.
