The T&E was already processed and paid. Now they want me to pay for the ticket. Can they require me to pay them after the fact? (The trip has now passed).

I resigned from a big bank and am being asked to reimburse them for a plane ticket I bought with my corporate card for a business trip I booked in good faith. Once I gave (60-day) notice they said they didn't want me seeing clients, even though I was still employed during the trip dates. The T&E was already processed and paid. Now they want me to pay for the ticket. Can they require me to pay them after the fact? (The trip has now passed).
