Should I be non exempt or exempt employee and am I entitled to overtime for my contract position.
I work in MN as a full time 40 hr a week data entry specialist for a non profit program and also hired as a contractor position for 10 hrs a week as an alumni coordinator that i do all the work in the office that i do my data entry duties. I am currently classified as an Exempt employee which I don't meet the requirements of an exempt employee. If I am really suppose to me a non exempt employee and i entitled to overtime in my contract position since it is with the same company?
