Non competes in Maryland for massage therapists

I work in Maryland and need to know if a non compete as a massage therapist or esthetician is enforceable. My company wants me to sign within a 15 mile radius I can not provide same services when I already have clients of my own within 2 miles prior to me starting here as I am a 1099 employee. It says I can't talk about employment with other employees nor hire any other employees that work there if they leave for a year. I know I can not solicit and won't solicit current clients but it also states former clients. Can this be enforced and can they fire me if I don't sign in state of MD? What about W2 employees full or part time that may live and have home offices just miles away and have side gigs?
