My former employer gave me a negative reference, costing me to lose a job offered to me. I'm livid! I can't even imagine what they could possibly have said to potentially damage my veteran teaching career. How can I take action to protect myself and see that they don't prevent me from working? I'm a single mother of two, one of which has Autism, and need my career to support them. Because of this I'm suffering emotional stress, and feeling destroyed.
