My employer processed a paycheck for me made up of a discretionary bonus. Taxes were deducted and everything. However they are holding onto the checks. How long can they do this? It was early 1st quarter 2017 and it's almost mid April.

In addition, they are requiring that I do lesson plans for my day care kids and clean my classroom and will not include the hours I do this into overtime calculations. They say that it is to be paid straight time.
