I am a salaried employee for a Illinois company that has a PTO plan. The company closed due to weather for one day. 8 hours of PTO was removed from my bank of hours and used to cover that day without my knowledge or authorization. The other four days of the week we had worked 40+ hours, (just like every other week). My question is; Is this legal for the company to do?
