Must Give 90 Days but it is a hostile work enviroment. I found a new job, must I stay the full 90?

Working for a medical provider as a nurse practitioner and I must give 90 days notice to terminate my contract. I became very unhappy, was made promises that were not fulfilled and was treated as a common administrative nurse, not as a provider so I found another job. On September 12, 2014 I told my boss how I felt and he told me I could stay as long as I want to leave as soon as I want but if my heart was not in the job, I should leave. I responded my heart was no so he asked how long do I need? I said 2 weeks and he responded ok, then he said to the office manager, who was witness, don't tell staff yet, I want to but lets clear the schedule.
Now they both are denying that this conversation ever took place, refused my letter and is threatening legal action and will call the board of nursing to revoke my license is I don't stay the full 90. He has harassed me every day, not asking, but telling me he will find a way I will want to stay. How can anyone continue to work in this environment? I have been sick to my stomach ever since. He is a liar, harasses me, forged a date on my unsigned contract, which is now conveniently signed, threatens me with legal action if I don't give 90 days yet continues to refuse my resignation. Is this not grounds for me to leave today? Help!!!
