Is there anything I can do?

I gave my store manager documentation from the health department, stating that I had caught my Daughter's head lice, and that it was only a recommendation to send me home for treatment. My store manager did send me home, and told me to take the time I needed to get rid of the head lice, and that I'd need to bring back documentation stating that I was clear, before I could return to work. This was a Thursday. I treated myself and my house as I was told to do. I then went to the Health Department that following Monday, and received an all clear. When I went back to the store I worked at my store manager had already left for the day, so I was told to come back in the morning. I did just that, and my store manager told me I was fired. He seemed genuinely suprised to be firing me, but told me that the lead cashier/front end manager no longer needed me. I was a new employee, I was going on my third week there. Is there any action I can take, sents he did send me home, and told me himself to take the time? I am not even able to recieve unemployment.
