Is it legal for my employer to not pay me for sick days I have accrued?
My employer is a consulting agency. The client ended my contract, without notice and without cause (the reason was they have hired a less expensive resource) on the day I called in sick to tell them I was injured. I am incapacitated for at least a week after that day. My consulting agency refuses to pay me any of the sick time I have accrued except for the one day when the client informed me they were ending my contract.
