Is it legal for company to revise severance package 1 day prior to announcement of sale?
In our 2018 handbook from Jan it states that if company sales employees will be paid severance. My company announced that they sold to another place on april 2. However now they have simulations on severance package. The company updated a policy and procedure effective April 1. Is this legal?? Basically i feel they changed policy due to the sale
