Is it defamation of character for my team lead to talk about my attendance and restroom habits with

On. July 19th 2017 my co worker informed that my team lead has been talking about my restroom use and attendance with my fellow co-workers. I have not read anywhere in our handbook that I am limited to so many restroom breaks. I maybe use the restroom 4 times in an 8 hour shift.
Team lead also claims to have ran into a former supervisor of mine from a previous job, said supervisor was no longer with the company when I quit, but she claims he told her I quit because they were going to fire me. He had been gone for 6 months maybe before I quit so how would he know. Then team lead came back to my co workers at present job and was telling them all this.
