Is a company liable if an executive promises you a promotion/position then you don't get the job ?
I was told that a VP spot was guaranteed to me by one of the companies over VPs, all I had to do was apply for the job. this was done on the phone. The VP was in California, I was in Louisiana.
I applied for the job as directed and was not offered the position.
