Involves FLSA.

Dear M.E.L.

I am an non-exempt hourly worker employed as a maintainance technician. I work for a apartment management company in Evansville Indiana. They have apartments all over the United States. I am required to work off of the clock once I hit 40 hours. I am then given 1 hour off for each hour of overtime worked. What would my best course of action be? Would an attorney consider this case since I only make $10 per hour? Would it be worth their while?

Thank you,

Sincerely,
Robert Cotton

Overtime question

You can either file a complaint with the US Dept of Labor or bring a private action. Your hourly rate would not matter to me as far as representing you. I would want to know more about your case, such as how much you are owed in total, how the hour are given in compensation, etc. Brenda Rodeheffer 1-800-371-2122
