I'm on fmla for back surgery and a blood clot . Can my employer take my commisions away from me ? I have surrenders my vacation and personal time to the company when I went on fmla I'm recieving a short term disability check from FMLA . They will not pay

I'm on FMLA from back surgery in August . I live in Colorado the company used my vacation and personal time I understand that part. But the company is taking my commisions and I was told by my HR person that I would recieve it. The company hand book does not state anything on taking my commisions. I looked at my commisions agreement and there is nothing stating they can take my commisions when on FMLA . Why would they take my commisions my accounts are still making the company money they don't go away when I'm recouping . Thanks ️Sue
