I wasn't paid for time spent being reprimanded and fired is it legal?

In early March I was accused of lying to a client, and was promptly suspended by the manager who himself was reprimanded, because I could not finish my job based on his actions. I spent fifteen minutes being yelled at by him (he actually raised his voice), and he did not allow me to clock in before being reprimanded. I was suspended without pay.

The next morning the District Supervisor called me to clarify things, this was three hours on the phone, at my home, I was not not told anything other then that they would 'look into it'

Two days later, the district level supervisor called me and informed me that do to my 'hostile actions and words' I was terminated. This phone call took 45 min.

I just received my paycheck and it only includes 24 hrs of normal time, and does not include the 4 hours I spent being reprimanded and on the phone.

On top of that The Hostile Actions and Words they spoke of did not take place, I was in shock at being suspended.

To add insult to injury, the younger brother of the supervisor who brought about my termination was hired into my position, despite a complete lack of qualifications.
