Wrongfully termed while in notice. No payment was offered for severance or vacation hours earned..

I was recently termed 2 days after I provided a 30 day written notice to quit per the policy. No severance was offered nor was I offered the vacation hours I earned while I worked. The reason they stated they termed me was because I refused to go into work while on vacation. I gave my notice on January 4, 2017, the refusal occured on January 3, 2017 and I wasn't termed until January 6, 2017 for the event of January 3, 2017. Wouldn't it stand to reason that they would have termed me the day after, not 3 days later? Do I have a case for wrongful termination to collect my earned hours and a severance?.
