I was laid off from Inn On The Park last Dec 15th and was expected to be called back but later found out that I was not needed after 35 years of faithful work. Am I entitled to Severance Pay by the employer?

I was employed by Inn On The Park Hotel and laid off last December 15th and found out a few days ago that the hotel no longer needed me. Am I entitled to Severance pay? I waited and waited and my supervisor told me that once she heard from George, she would call me but no call came in.
