I was fired on Jan. 12, 2017 from my job of almost 15 years. I was a salaried employee and should have received a check the day after my termination and one the next Friday,I didn't receive either one of those checks for time I worked. Is it legal for him

During my termination I was told I was guilty by association because my employer was firing my father-in-law because he suspected him of theft. So myself and my 2 brother in laws were also let go cause they said we were guilty by association and couldn't be trusted. When I applied for unemployment I was contacted by Alabama Unemployment and was notified that my former employer told them I was fired for theft. I haven't stolen anything and was wondering if he could legally keep my 2 weeks of pay I worked for that he did not pay me.
