I was 'fired', and I didn't receive my commission from my job, anything I can do?

My boss said that I "voluntarily quit", but I was told to go home because my boss "didn't like my attitude", I was paid an hourly wage as well as a commission rate of 2% on everything I sold. My last paycheck isn't showing any commission bonus, are they legally allowed to take away my commission, which I earned because I was 'fired' or 'quit'?
