I submitted resignation letter on 4/8/11 under duress? I am STILL employed until 5/6. Can I rescind

I resigned 4/8/11 'effective immediately', however, management stated I would still be considered employee until 5/6/11 so that I could bid on internal positions for four weeks. I had had 'counseling' sessions with supervisor but no Performance Improvement Plan in writing, no oral or written warnings. HR and my boss offered me to 'start fresh' w/PIP plan or resign. At the time, I was under extreme family stressors and my doctor had prescribed anti anxiety medication and my blood pressure was high as well. Can I rescind my resignation and request FMLA instead?
