I resigned my position effective immediately. Sent my manager a text stating this. Text is the form of communication we all used at this company. Manager asked me to wait for him. I loaded all my personal items in my car and waited an hour for him so I could return cpmpany items such as ID cards and laptops assigned to me. When he got there he said we had to call HR. He told the HR person I had resigned. HR stated that they were going to list me as terminated in their system. I told her I had already quit and wasn't an employee they could terminate. Is there anyway to force them to change the record in their HR system?
