I presented my employer with FMLA papers today, and he suddenly started asking me questions about whether I have been doing my job correctly. I have, but he's had months to question me. Is it legal for him to do so after I've been approved?

I received approval for FMLA on Friday. I told my employer today. My Principal accepted it, but as soon as she left the room, he began question after question about whether I have been doing my job correctly. He's had months to call me into his office. It seems strange that he started these 'concerns' on the day I presented him with FMLA. Shouldn't these things have been addressed before. Can he have it revoked?
