I live in Tennessee and my previous employer continues to deposit money that they don't owe me into my debit account. How many days do I have until that money is mine and they can't take it back?

Just wondering

I am not a Tennessee lawyer and I do not know Tennessee law, but I thought I would jump in and say not to touch the money. It is not your's, and it does not become your money just because the bank made a mistake in your favor. That only happens in Monopoly.

If this employer deposits money to your account and does not ask for its return after, say, two years, go to an attorney in your state and find out if the old employer's right to demand that money back will ever expire. If it does, only at the point of expiration would you be able to consider taking it.
