I have to sign an NDA agreement along with a non-compete agreement on Monday for a new career in biotechnology in Cambridge, MA. Can I post the clause here and are there things I should discuss before I sign?

Non-competition; Non-solicitation: During the Business Relationship and for a period of one year thereafter; the Employee shall not, directly or indirectly, engage or participate in any way in any commercial activity that competes with the business, products, or services being actively planned, developed, marketed, sold, or otherwise provided by the Company. The Employee also shall not solicit any other employee, customer, supplier, or franchise of, or consultant or adviser to, the Company to terminate or otherwise modify such party's relationship with the Company during the Business Relationship and for a period of one year thereafter. The time periods provided for this in Section 3 shall be extended for a period of time in which the Employee is found by any court of competent jurisdiction to be in violation of any provision of this Section. The Employee recognizes and agrees that his or her responsibilities, position or title within the Company may evolve or change during the period of the Business Relationship, and hereby agrees that his or her obligations under this Section 3 shall remain in full force and effect throughout the Business Relationship, notwithstanding any such Status Change. The Employee further recognizes and agrees that the enforcement of this Agreement is necessary to ensure the preservation, protection and continuity of the commercially goodwill of the Company. The Employee agrees that, due to the proprietary nature of the Company business, the restrictions set forth in Section 3 of this Agreement are reasonable as to duration and scope.
