I am in Michigan, my employer is selling and the new owners gave me an offer but it came with a bunch of strings attached. It would be polar opposite of how I am treated now. I don't want to work for them, I would rather search for a new career meaning certification/schooling can I collect unemployment in the meantime? Should I have my current employer let me go or lay me off?
