I am a salaried manager, am I exempt salaried or non-exempt salaried?

I am a store manager with Blockbuster Video. I have been told by my new boss that I must be on conference calls and text or call in numbers to her wether I am at work or not. I have been told that If I am out of work and choose not to use my cell then I can drive back to work to call her conferece calls or call in my numbers.
I have come to verbal blows with her over this and the disrespectful manner in which I have been spoken to over this issue.
I called my Regional Human Resources Manager, who told me she has the right to require me to work whenever business dictates. I have always been at my store when the need arises. Their idea of business dictating is 'candy bundles sales goal.'
I also lodged a complain against her with Ethics Point. An HR company that works for Blockbuster.
Essentially I feel I have been taken advantage of for years and I now wonder if I truly am an exempt salaried manager or not. Class action suit? or no?
