Hello,
My sister and I were working for the same company in the same position as of July 16. It's an office setting and we sit at a desk for the day. My sister is six months pregnant and was also working part time as a receptionist at a cafe with her scheduled leave date of June 18th. She was expecting to keep working at the office up until about August 8-15 at least since she is due on August 20th. When she applied for unemployment online she received a letter stating she needed to complete a phone interview on July 3 which would have been 2 weeks of us not working. The woman she spoke to on the phone told her that because she was pregnant she wasn't able to apply for work. Also asking her why she was leaving the cafe job--where she would have to stand all day. Noted that the office started remodeling a couple weeks before without more than a day to notice to the employees. They were painting the entire office while doing construction near the desks.

Thank you.
