Have MA courts established whether new non-compete law is retroactive?

I was hoping you could elaborate a little more since the new law went into effect nearly 7 months ago. How are the courts upholding prior (to 10/1/2018) non-compete contracts that extend say 2 years post-termination and geographically overbearing. (i.e. anywhere said company does business). Although the law clearly states application to all new contracts on or after 10/1/2018, is there any case law established yet that applies current contract law to invalidate portions of prior agreements? Thanks!
