During a probation period I was let go for what appears to be a bogus reason.

I was hired along with about 10 other auditors in preparation for a new client that was to come on board. I started 9/12/16. Most of that time I was training and not doing much auditing. It appears I was fired because they hired too many auditors and the contract fell through. I was told before I got hired that there would be a place for me regardless of that client however the reason given for my dismissal lead me to think it was due to the my salary and the lack of the client contract. I would greatly appreciate your feedback. Thank you.
