Downsized and training my replacement.

My company is relocating the accounting dept and we are all loosing our jobs. However 80% of my job is now going to be kept here in the office I now work in but they asking me to train someone else here to do the job, is that allowed as I am still being made redundant?

They can reorganize, but not if it discriminates u

They have a right to move the department. they have a right to keep some of the functions in the original location. they don'[t have a right to make discriminatory decisions. Therefore, you need to know how the decision made to keep some of your functions at the original site were made - and is the replacement a new hire, instead of keeping the replacement?
