Do I have to pay my exempt employees during my company's shutdown between Christmas and New Years?
Our business is closing between Christmas and New Years. We have exempt and non-exempt employees, (salaried and hourly). I've read that exempt employees have to be paid for the week but other articles say only if they work at least one hour that week.I'm unsure as to what the law requires.
