Demotion from employer

I was recently demoted as a manager at a Group Home, to a direct care worker. My pay was drastically reduced by five dollars and twenty cent. I have no disciplinary actions or write ups against me; this change happend for no justifiable reason. Despite being a hire at will organization are they able to do this?
