DUTIES OF JOB HUMANLY IMPOSSIBLE by Industry Stds

I am being suspended w/o pay for 5 days for failing to meet performance goals. My duties are humanly impossible, as Dir. of Technology for a School District, and the state Board of Ed. recommends 13 people to do my job. Do I have a case if the job expectations are impossible by industry standards? (1 man, 700 PC's, 13 servers, grants, policy, management, clerical, etc.). If a boss said "schlep this 200lb sack of rocks up dis ladder" and fired me for not being able to...?

Impossible Duties

You have no case under the facts submitted. If you have a contract with the employer that enumerates job duties or if you are a member of a collective bargaining unit, that might be a different story.
