Can my salary be drastically reduced if I'll be doing the same job, just part-time instead of full?
I was a part-time employee for several years and went full-time about a year ago. I recently asked to return to part-time status and was just informed that both my hours and my hourly salary will be cut (by several dollars an hour, and I do not make much money as it is). I would be doing the exact same position, same duties, just for fewer hours each week. Is this de rigeur?
