Can my employer change a signed 1 year contract after only 5 months?
My husband accepted a new job in Michigan after working for 25 years for another. The new company gave him a 1 year contract with dollar amount goal for bringing in new business. After 5 months they said he was not bringing in enough new jobs and presented him with a new contract which was 40% cut in pay. Neither my husband or the owners signed the new contract. Is there anything my husband can do? They came after him to work for them, made him a lot of promises and now as you have said in prior blogs pulled the rug out from under him.
