Can employer withhold 401k &/or social security benefits because of unpaid health insurance payments while i was on FMLA?
My doctor gave me work restrictions & my employer put me on FMLA while trying to place me to another job which they did not so now i have been layed off. I did not keep up my health insurance payments which normally came out of my weekly check while i was on FMLA. I have 401k benefits & social security through this employer. Can they with hold my benefits because of those insurance payments that were not paid?
