Can I collect unemployment?
I was on unemployment until Oct 09 (was on 1st extension). I then took another job and went on a m2 week medical leave from Doctor recently. On the 1st day of leave my supervisor informed me I needed to resign, I refused. At the end of week 1 she informed me thru email that if I didn't arrive on Monday I was no longer an employee. I replied I was unable as I was still on medical leave. Am I eligible to either retart my old claim or a new claim? I supplied my employer with Doctor statement.

ODJFS should answer these questions, it appears that you will not be disqualified, but that decision will be by ODJFS. You shuld apply under the old and see whether or not they think it should be a new claim.
