Can I be hired back if I was terminated for an unknown medical condition?

I'm pretty sure that I've missed the deadline for filing a discrimination case, but I'm curious if there's anything else I can do.

I was terminated from my job on Sept 17th, 2015. I was told (over the phone) that it was due to my recent abnormal behavior. I have two chronic illnesses that this employer was made completely aware of and what accommodations I needed (Asperger's Disorder and Chiari Malformation). As it turns out, my seemingly aggressive behavior at that time had been due to an unknown severe UTI (it's common knowledge in the medical community that the toxins can affect cognitive function). I was discharged before that discovery. I was told, again over the phone, that I was being made an example of. In the information packet I gave the office manager about Asperger's, it clearly specified that any "blind-sided" interactions will cause an adverse reaction. It's part of the maladjustment of Asperger's. I did react in an unsavory way. And that had not been the first time I had been confronted like that. Later that day I was contacted by a former fellow employee and was told she'd reported me to the manager that fired me only because I'd talked to another about what was going on (I simply asked if I could go home early, I was leaving for vacation that next day anyways). She admitted that she'd had no intention of reporting our argument but then changed her mind to save her job. My question is this, since I was more or less discharged for retaliatory and discriminatory reasons, if I ask to be hired back can I be denied? Disciplinary action has already been taken against those offending parties by the parent company.
