Hudson Job Search presentation on Negotiating Employment Agreements

Last night I had the pleasure of speaking to Hudson Job Search. Hudson Job Search is a non-denominational community Christian organization started in 1982. Its vision is to provide confidential outplacement services to members of the Hudson, Ohio and neighboring  communities who are seeking new employment without the assistance of outplacement services. Since its formation, Hudson Job Search has helped thousands of individuals through their career transition.

My presentation last night was on Negotiating Employment Agreements. It focused on employment, non-competition and severance agreements within the broader context of general employment law and offered tips for negotiating the most favorable terms.

Perhaps more as a sign of the times then the quality of the speaker, the session was very well attended. The discussion was excellent. For anyone who has recently lost a job without an offer of outplacement assistance, I recommend Hudson Job Search as a resource well worth exploring.
