Answer to Have I been sexual discriminated against?

Concord-discrim

It may well be that you have suffered discrimination. I don't do much work in Northern Cal. If you don't get a response from a Northern Cal Atty, email me and I will find you one.

Answer to Non-compete agreement re: inability to "bid"

non-compete

I would need to see the agreement. It may have a provision which states which state's law will be applied. Further, if he is going to be working only in California, he probably has a better chance of beating it. If he is going to be competing nation-wide, one probably has to look at the law of each state.

Answer to Forced to leave because of a hostile environment - do I have cause for a suit?

It depends on why the environment was hostile.

It depends on why the environment was hostile. Was the other person doing things to you because of sex, race, sexual orientation, etc.? Were the things done aimed at you or just in your environment. I would need more information. Please feel free to email me directly.
