About Me:


Chris has been practicing law since 2001, with a focus on employment issues since 2002. She has a broad range of experience working for firms, and started her own practice in 2005.

Chris represents individuals in all aspects of the employment relationship, including discrimination and retaliation claims under State and federal law; non-competition agreements; severance matters; and unemployment compensation matters.


Chris graduated first in her class, summa cum laude, from the University of Akron School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-chief of the Akron Law Review. In law school, she received numerous academic achievement awards.

Chris also holds undergraduate degrees in French and Secondary Education from Miami University (Ohio), as well as a Master of Arts in French from Kent State University

Professional Activities

Chris is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Associations (NELA), the Ohio Employment Lawyers Association (OELA), and the Cleveland Employment Lawyers Association (CELA). She is also a member of the Cleveland American Employment Inn of Court.

She serves as an at-large member of the Board for OELA, is a member of the Executive Board, and writes "friend of the court" briefs for the Amicus Committee.

Chris has written several amicus ("friend of the court") briefs on behalf of employee rights' organizations for the appellate courts in Ohio, the Ohio Supreme Court, and the United States Supreme Court.
