About Me:
I represent employers and employees with regard to all aspects of employment law. I specialize in drafting employment contracts and severance agreements. I advise employers on employment requirements and represent employees when they believe they have been treated unfairly. My law practice in the labor and employment area has involved counseling employers and employees on all aspects of the employer-employee relationship including handling matters in federal and state court, arbitration and administrative forums. I have represented clients ranging from companies with only a few employees to Texas Utilities, a then public utility with over 10,000 employees. I have participated in employment decisions and employment policy making from three distinct and separate points of view. As an attorney, I advise companies on proper employment practices and compliance. As an employer, I made decisions regarding employment practices and policies that affected all employees in the company and made decisions regarding individual employment disputes that affected the individual employee and the company. Finally, as an employee (General Counsel for three companies), I negotiated my own employment agreement and understand the motivations and concerns of an individual when addressing employment-related decisions.
