About Me:

Her entire career, she has concentrated in employment law. She founded Choate Herschman with the intent of making an exceptional law firm dedicated to employment law. Ms. Choate was named an “Illinois Rising Star” for 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2010 and 2009 by Super Lawyers magazine. She has been invited to speak as a guest lecturer on employment issues for the Chicago Bar Association's Law at the Library Series every year since 2005. Ms. Choate currently serves as the Immediate Past President of NELA/Illinois. She received her J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago and her A.B. from the University of Chicago. During law school Ms. Choate served as the Student Articles Editor for the Loyola University Chicago International Law Review and as an Editor of the Loyola Child Legal Rights Journal. She authored: "Global Justice: Fighting Terrorism with the International Criminal Court," Loyola Forum of International Law, Volume IX, Number 1, 2001; and "Alliances of Convenience: United States Ties with the Northern Alliance in Light of Human Rights Violations," Loyola Forum of International Law, Volume IX, Number 2, 2002.
