Promoted to a permanent position from contractor, but no emplyment contract yet.
I worked for my current employer as a contractor from and agency then was direct hired by the company. I asked for an offer letter or employment contract stating my new salary and benefits (all permanent employee's receive medical, dental etc...) and was told by my new supervisor, HR will take a while to get it to me. Three months later, no employment contract or offer letter. I have been getting the run around from my supervisor on getting it resolved. Other employees said they were treated the same. I even went on a business trip and was not compensated for meals or hours worked. What recourse do I have?
