    You need to follow the link on the status page through to HB 690.  However, Governor Taft signed a slightly amended HB 690 into law on January 3, 2007.  It will take effect in 90 days.  I believe that the legislation that Gov. Taft signed includes all of the constitutionally suspect exemptions from the minimum wage and record keeping requirements.&lt;br /&gt;

    This is a certian compromise to the current at-will employment staus that has  been the status quo for some time now.  The Edwards case  is an invitation for lawyers to challenge more &quot;wrongful termination&quot; cases and a slippery slope to the detereorating status of the employers right to at-will employment.
